He's just always on him. Kruk is generally positive about any Giants (hell he's trying to spin Dyson is a good light right now), but he's pretty openly biased against Belt. It's noticeable when everything else is generally positive.

On that particular AB, he was pretty aggravated that Belt didn't protect.

Belt just appears to be so effing stubborn. He wouldn’t change his grip until about 2 years of the coaches trying to get him to loosen up, and he doesn’t realize that umpires are sometimes wrong on called strikes, yet he always puts them in tight situations where they need to make a call.

Stubborn is the only way to explain it.

But realistically, they will not DFA him yet. They will protect the inventory this early in the season. Either they will option someone out or he will have a stubbed toe that needs rest.
