For some reason, I just realized that was your avatar

Kinda cool seeing them next to each other. The avatar one is less smooth

Well Stratton just threw a pie at my face. Long layoff between innings? Overrated.

Great QS from Stratton. Yeah it's the Padres but if the Giants are gonna get a wild card, they need to be like 14-5 vs them.

And the Padres dominated the Giants last year (at least, it felt like they did, haven't looked up to see head to head record from 2017). So a reversal would be nice.

And Stratton is a beast too. Could this be considered the best start from a Giants' pitcher so far this year (yes, even better than Blach and Cueto to start the season)?

Well I know the Giants lost all the series in San Diego, and it felt like the Padres hit 100 homers at AT&T

I like him a lot, perfect 4th/5th guy to have on a deep staff. And he's taken up the challenge up stabilizing the rotation in the interim.

Fun game to watch. I just wish I was able to watch the first inning.

I fucking missed this play live. I was in line for a Kilbasa at the time. Was able to watch it on one of the million monitors they have set up at the park, though...

At the park, I dididnt feel near as confident with Stratton as his line and results indicated. He seemed to bring a lot of guys to 3 balls. And that 5th inning (??) was painful slow. He didn’t give up a hit, but he was throwing lots of stressful pitches and taking his sweet time doing it.

Law worried me during his first batter, but ultimately 2 perfect is acceptable every time.

I think I may have come to a realization tonight. Hunter Pence may just be my favorite Giant of all time. How can you not smile when watching that guy play. He plays at 110% on every play. There is nothing better than that.
