Welcome one, welcome all. Many of you are already familiar with the game, but those of you who aren't, fasten your seatbelts.
The first two years of the you suck pick'em have been a smashing success. Year 2 more so than year 1 because of my trusty side kick @cwerph (many MANY thanks to him).
As August rolls around I want to gauge the interest again this year from those who want to have some fun at the expense of others. (somebody get "the list" in here)
For those of you who have played before and maybe forgot the rules and those of you who have never played before, here they are.
You must pick the team that will lose by the greatest amount every week.. but with some stipulations:
1. You MUST pick 3 games every week
1a. One game must be a P5 vs. P5
1b. One game must be a G5 vs. G5
1c. One game can be any EXCLUDING picking an FCS school as a loser (you can pick an FCS as a winner)
2. You can only pick a team to "suck" or lose twice a year (can't pick on Kansas and Illinois every week)
3. If you pick a team to suck, and they win.. you lose ten points
4. BYU and Notre Dame are the only Indy's that count as P5s.
4a. Army and UMass are G5s
5. Picks must be submitted via PM to me. I will input the matchup onto the spreadsheet, picks will be confirmed by myself.
6. Regular season will have one champion, bowl season another.
6a. If someone knows a way we can get a VCash prize to each winner, 2nd place, and 3rd place.. that would be wonderful
If you're back in for year 3 or want to join and never played before.. please reply here. @cwerph and myself will be monitoring this to get a running list of who has joined
***Please.. if you are going to join, be in for the long haul. I'm tired of people joining and then doing weeks 1-3 and then quitting. It's all just for fun, but extra work for us isn't fun if you join and quit***
