Nothing to see here, just Gausman being Gausman...
Tuesday isn't likely to be any better with Wright starting against Houston.

(Checks the box score)

Overreaction of the day: Tank the 2018 season to speed up the rebuild process, please? After all, starting pitching isn't the only weakness of this team...
Was hoping that this would've started at the trade deadline last year. The Yankees did it the right way I believe in 2016 and traded away just about anyone to get young, controllable talent and now they have a real good team again.

The Orioles announced that they’ve signed Michael Saunders to a minor league contract. The veteran outfielder, a client of Meister Sports Management, will head to Triple-A Norfolk to open the season. FanRag’s Jon Heyman tweets that Saunders’ deal comes with a $1.5MM base salary in the Majors and up to $3MM of additional incentives.

Are they for real? Basically getting shut out in 3 of the first 4 games?
Looks a lot like a repeat of last season. When the offense slumps, they all slump at the same time and barely look like they belong in the majors. Not that Tillman gave them much of a shot tonight to start with. I wonder if it's one of those things that the offense just gives up mentally after the starting pitcher gets run out of the game early.

When the offense scores a decent amount of runs, we still find a way to give up a lead. :L

I will say that Wright had a much better start than I thought he would've tonight.

Can we end this Davis lead off experiment? 0-5 with 4ks. Great lead off hitter.

I would hit Beckham lead off.

Solid 2/3 of an inning for Wright :L:L:L

Why are they still giving this guy a chance? He's proven time and time again he is a AAA (at best) pitcher...

That bullpen is giving up too many runs, but taking 3 out of 4 from the Skanks is impressive. Lots of room for improvement with the BP.

I like the way Buck keeps pitchers in the game after giving up 2 homers (not this game), hate to say it, they look the same as last year.

Hope Buck stays away from the Davis lead-off strategy

Part of it I think is because they're keeping the two rule 5 guys up on the roster.
