Its got to be Dozier. He just aint what he use to be. Got to move him for something in return.

And I think between his publicly bashing the new FO at the trade deadline last season and his comments about the contract they tried to work out during spring training that Dozier had fallen out of the team's plans. No details about the contract offer leaked, but based on his remarks he made it sound like they lowballed him. Even if they were in contention, I think Dozier would have been moved by the deadline.

Meanwhile, Dozier goes 3-4 with a homer, single and double.... just another ordinary August day for the guy...

Dozier with a 3 run HR. On an 0-2 pitch. It's comical, really.

And now Rodney has been dealt to Oakland for a Class A prospect who sounds like he doesn't have his act together. I read somewhere that the prospect took some time off last season for "personal reasons" and his control hasn't been as good since he came back.

Its hard to even get mad now-a-days. We all know the score, and we lost. Now we get to see what some of our young players can do. Feels like 82 all over again.

I was done with Dozier, and we needed to drop Lynn, Rodney and Morrison. Would have liked to have kept Eddie, maybe Duke, but it is what it is. One thing is for sure....no one wants Mauer. The Twins neither. They just wont say it yet.

All kinds of openings are going to become available. Lets see what we have down on the farm. I'll watch them.

So Mr. Santana is upset with the front office for trading off veteran players. Sorry bro, but they werent getting it done. If we were going to compete, we should have been doing it all year. You cant blame the FO for cutting lose big contracts when we are 10 games under 500 and double digit games out of first, in one of the weakest divisions in baseball. Its a business, and most of those guys had it coming, due to their performance.

Surprisingly, I think we can still be a competitive club next year if the veterans we still have produce to their abilities, and just a few young faces make the jump and experience some moderate success. Ok, not like division winning, WS champs or anything. But still, good enough to watch, root for, and maybe get surprised. Just cut the Mauer cord and we are young and fresh again. I'll take that.

I hate to say it but we need to move on from Kepler as well, hopefully trade Sano for a poster of Bea Arthur in a bikini and hire the best shrink in America to work on Buxton's brain.

Yep. Good 'ol Porcelain Joe. Brought his bat to the game today. He is good for one or two game winners a year.

It wont save him though. He still sucks. But was nice to see him deliver big for a change.

If only Gibson could get a relief appearance of mop up duty.

Lynn did look sick against the might White Sox tho.

Luckily, as usual. Nos speaks. Lynn immediately shits the bed.

Classic!
