Season starts on Friday with Arsenal and Leicester City. Happy I'm off from work so I can enjoy that one.

If Chelsea lands Bale and Augier, I don't see how they miss the top four. Right now, I'd put them in the top four. Their midfield is going to awesome.

I think you could make a legitimate case for any of the top six to win the title and probably a case for each one of them to finish fifth or sixth (maybe not City).


Of course, I’m biased, but I think Liverpool will do better than the article suggests. Still a chance they’ll sign Van Dyke.


Again, I’m biased but have United improved enough to go from 6th to 2nd? I’m not sure that their first eleven is improved from last season. Lots of talent and a deep squad though.

Chelsea's main issue may be fatigue due to lack of depth. It's a great squad, but pretty thin to be competing in the EPL, UCL, FA Cup, etc.

Do you think they will do as well as last season in the UCL?
Other than losing Matic, I'm not seeing where they are thin.
Kante and Matic are basically the same player so having them both on the field was pointless. Signing Bakayoko will take a little of the sting out of losing Matic.

The starting 11 are not tin and are arguably one of the best in the EPL, I'm saying that behind that starting 11 they are thin as in lack of depth at most positions which could lead to tired legs, injuries, etc as the season goes on and they have to compete in at least 3 major competitions (EPL, UCL, and FA Cup)

And BTW, they didn't play in the UCL last season, or anywhere in Europe for that matter, which is why they were able to focus on the EPL and FA Cup.

Yeah they decided to start the seaon on a Friday for the 1st time ever.

Sucks for Leicester to not take any points tonight. Allowed 2 goals in the final 7+ minutes.

Had a 2-1 lead and a 3-2 leave. Nothing to show for it

Jesus man. I don't think Chelsea will have that great of a year. While it's early the depth concerns me. Off season injuries are obviously hurting now but as the season progresses. The Chelsea board sucks balls. Managing EPL, FA and champions will be grueling.
