Game Thread for the 2017/18 Regular Season. I'll try to post the game schedule for each week but if anybody get's here first they are more than welcome to post the schedule for the week.

From 10/17 to 10/21 the Pens schedule is as follows:
10/17 @ NYR - 7PM
10/20 @ FLA - 7:30PM
10/21 @ TB - 7PM

FYI...Pens and Ottawa have the most back-to-backs of any teams in the NHL at 19

19! That is totally ridiculous!!! I bet the Leaf's only have a few. If I were a conspiracy theorist, I'd think the home office was trying to keep the Pens out of the playoffs this year or at least get them a low seed. Like that would stop them!!!

Pens have some of the least amount of miles to go thru a season, so I think that plays a huge part in it.

It shouldn't cause with the exception of Columbus and Carolina everyone else in the Metro has about the same amount of miles to travel. I'd think the Rangers, Isles, Devils and Philly have less than the Pens since they are all so close to each other.

You are forgetting Western conf teams...Pens can fart and be at most of their opponents ice arena's

True and I was thinking that all Western Conference teams travel further than the Eastern Conference teams do due to the size of the Western part of the US and Canada.

Yowza...absolutely crushed by Tampa. Niemi seems to suck major ass and the Pens don't play worth a shit with him on the ice. Crosby needed to shut his pie hole and just play hockey

Niemi is no fit for the style they play on top of the fact he is washed up.

BTW....The Sheahan trade I hope works out. McKegg and Rowney are at best 4th liners or roster filler.

If Rowney misses some time due to the injury from the shot block in the TB game, we'll find out very quickly if the Sheanhan trade pays off.

I think they should switch it up and use literally anyone who isn't Antti Niemi as their backup goalie.

Niemi was put on waivers earlier today. So, that problem is solved. Wonder if JR will call up Jerry or sign another crappy vet backup. I'm hopping for the former.
