Teams on the rise? Oilers and Flyers
Devil likely to disappoint? Zacha. I hope I am wrong here but Devils probably should have went with Provorov.
Teams going downhill? Rangers. Good riddance but Henrik will keep them afloat like always.
Cup champion? Going to say Lightning.
Team that will be hated? rangers forever. go to hell.

Also I think Devils fans will forget wanting to fire Hynes. Nico makes the team and provides impact. Butcher is the best signing of offseason. Stamkos is back and leads league in points.

I think we'll make the playoffs.... have to believe that the offensive potential has to kick in by now. I believe that the removal of Cam will do good in our lockeroom and on the ice. At least thats what i'm selling myself about.

I do worry about the defense but lets see.

Cory must rebound and play a strong season. He needs to wake the F up.

Hall needs to dominate and Pal n Co. must help.

i do agree that a lot of people will be "disappointed" in hall unless he puts up say 80pts which being realistic isn't really his style imo. just stay healthy and help bring up the top line talent and im good

I was wondering the same thing. Zacha is def at least an above average skater, is a big guy, and has shown very good hands. There were plenty of times early last year where he looked like the only person on the team who could even play with Taylor until Zajac/Palms settled in with him.

Plenty of flashes last year, just need to put it together. If he plays top-6 15/25/40 is going to be easy this year for him.

the team is trending towards speed and skill and not particular in size. if you gave me a list of players of who conte drafted and who cranston drafted you could easily pick out the players.

I also just double checked and Shero was in charge when we drafted Zacha.

Nothing wrong with Size and speed... the skill is coming along but he has good speed for his size...

Need to have the right balance of gamestyles IMO or else we'll get punked like last year hence the "no grit" or "not tough enough" scouting report we were tagged with.
