well young players need confidence, and thats is giving them the opportunity to show they learn from their mistakes. I am really confused why Ville Pokka did not get some time late in the season. Its what we need to deal with having Q on the bench. One fuck up and the young players are tentative out there, which causes more mistakes. The second part is these guys just think they can turn it on at any time and think they can skate past any hits.

Now all the talk is they will not be able to resign shaw. He will get an offer from elsewhere and the hawks no longer can set their price, some team that may or may not really want Shaw will sign him to attempt to break the hawks back. I dont think Shaw is looking for 6 million, but he probably wants a bump from 2. But after they committed to Krueger for 3 million, its probably where Shaw expects to be. Pretty sure they are going to spend that on a more veteran d man.

Sounds like Panarin was playing in the first preliminary game for this world cup or whatever, took a spill and went hard into the boards. They claim the shoulder MRI was negative, but he will not be playing again until september.

there was good news on the Panarin front, leading his team to a 10-1 win with one goal and 4 assists.
