Carcillo is cleared to play but will probably be a healthy scratch. I'd like to see him on the 4th line with Kruger & Shaw. Those 3 just click and can jump-start the other lines.

Local news earlier in the week made it sound like Versteeg was a healthy scratch, but Rotoworld is reporting that he does have a lower body injury. I know AI loves to hate him (and I usually defend Versteeg), but his series against the Preds was mostly terrible.

Hey Nos... have you heard anything locally about Adrian Peterson?

Just the same company line garbage, that we are not trading him and we want him back. It's really just a matter now of who blinks first, the Vikes hold the better hand but I can't imagine them just letting him sit. Being I don't live in Minnesota anymore I don't get to check out KFAN or read the sports columnists opinions the way I used to.

I also wanna say good luck to the Hawks tonight and in this series and to all the Hawks fans...

not to derail the thread, just adding my 2 cents... If he isn't traded today, it ain't happening, and they can just re-evaluate in 12 mos, and again 12 months after that. He has no say, other than to sit out or retire... both of which give the Vikes some opportunities and not carry a dead contract.

The game was on NHL network, I just missed the first goal.

What a start by the hawks, Dubnik looked ordinary. Crow was solid with the pad a few times, but two of those goals could be called soft.

some guy was in the locker room interviewing crow asking if he was surprised that he was not pulled after giving up the third goal, if there was a sense of relief, I thought crow was gonna go off on that dude. Valid question, he gave up 3 in 10 minutes.

I missed the first goal/start of the game also. Just makes me appreciate our local Comcast coverage. No word from Kenny Albert or NBCSN during the end of the Bolts-Habs game until they broke in with a "scoring update." I was like, What? Thanks NBC! Not.

Hawks seemed to do everything right in period one. Then everything wrong in period two; sans for Teuvo's long range goal. The third period was a nail-biter.

Thought I saw Kane play defense for a shift or two? (About time.) Bickell was a non-factor despite all of his pre-series hype.

My early series MVP's: Hawks = Saad; Wild = Parise.

I dont think Bickell was a non factor, Pretty sure they aid he had 11 hits. Saw Teuvos goal a few times, did you see Vermettes stick down on the catching glove of Dubnik?

I dont know guys, the hawks might just decide to continue to play 60 minutes. If they get a body on the ice for Timonen they can only get stronger. Getting this doubt in Dubnik is really huge and the Wild sure seems to be easily upset when he lets a few in. I think you see an even better start from the hawks tomorrow night.

I don't see the Hawks winning game 3. I hope they do. But I expect the Wild to come out a lot more aggressive than they were on Sunday.

Still think Sharp is leading my MVP voting. For the Wild, I may change to Granlund.
