That was my first full year watching the Phillies, but I picked it up more towards June or July-ish, right in time for their epic near-comeback. From 2003-mid 2006 I just watched baseball on ESPN. I supported the Phillies, but I didn't make it a point to watch every game of theirs (or at least most) until right around when Abreu was traded. So I didn't see this live, and I don't even remember it being a big deal at the time. Rowand was a great player in 2007. Not resigning him was a great idea. If Ruben had been in control, he would have been given a 6 year deal. Anyway, you're the man Aaron Rowand! I'd run into a steel bar to help my team win too
