It's weird. My wife worked for a few years in Evansville, IN, and Indiana has half the state in the east and half the state in the central. Or at least back in the late 70's.

The line between Eastern and Central is probably the weirdest of the three lines in the continental U.S. We are Central, as is most of Tennessee but the far eastern part is . . . well . . . Eastern.
