So the 12-2 vote was about the state of the B1G as a whole in regards to safety protocol. Iowa and Nebraska were the only two schools that were happy with how each schools measures were, while the other 12 said further measures still were needed at some of the schools. Delaying the start of the...
That wasn't the official vote, they even came out shortly after that was being reported and said it wasn't.
Ohio State Was Against Postponement With Athletic Director Gene Smith and President-Elect Kristina Johnson “Totally Aligned” in Their Views
Yeah it looks like UF is definitely the team to beat there. We already have a monster in Jack Sawyer who is enrolling early. Just hoping we can get JT on campus for a visit and get him locked down. We have a 2022 kid who I think is going to end up moving from LB to DE, also. Wish this kid the best.
I guess we'll see what his position is actually going to be. At any rate, though, I never said he was a lock to never decommit, and he's absolutely not a major loss.
He had a low grade fever. I can't find any other players from either team that even had that.
Strongly, strongly disagree about the shutdowns. They're irrational and unnecessary.
Correct my if I'm wrong, but I believe Washington is the only team on that list that doesn't have a ranked OOC win in this timeframe. I'm not even sure they should be top 10-15.
This seems to be becoming a larger and larger consensus among OSU fans. We're realizing just how much we've been carrying the majority of this conference over the years. I'm not a huge fan of going independent because I like the idea of being able to win a conference and have that 13th game, but...
It wouldn't be shocking if the ACC/SEC/Big 12 don't cancel as things get closer and closer. It's becoming apparent that any conferences cancelling were stupid to do so, just as it was stupid to change schedules to 10 games and get rid of OOC games. None of this is based in any kind of science...
There will be a season next year. It's just a matter of who OSU is going to be playing. They can basically choose which conference they want to play for, and if the rest of the feckless B1G presidents that voted no on this season don't get their shit together, they're going to destroy their own...
IMO, they panicked. I think the thought was things were going to get worse, but when they got better, they didn't know what to do and just cancelled and stated some bullshit about player security that's entirely baseless. It's an astonishing embarrassment and I wouldn't be upset if it means OSU...
Or... and hear me out here... maybe you don't need to get your panties in a bunch over innocuous trash talk between the two head coaches of one of the most hated rivalries in all of sports?
