I suppose it depends on how the rule is defined. Jones definitely made an attempt to brace his fall. It was not very successful and I think his full weight did come down on Carr. He could not use his right arm to stop himself as it was holding the ball. The league cannot expect a defender to...
I agree with this. If they are going to start enforcing it the way they are it needs to be reviewable. A review would have shown him brace with his left hand and that he could brace with his right bc he was already holding the ball lol
Technically, if you look at it from a points and possession perspective the Raiders was worse.
Chiefs lost possession and the Raiders got 3 points.
Raiders lost possession and the Chiefs got 7 points.
The holding on the field goal was absolutely as bad. Did you watch the video of it?
It was a make up call, plain and simple, so whatever bc the Chiefs were owed something after the terrible RTP.
I saw a video. It was completely a make up call, which I predicted was going to happen at the end of the first half. The RTP was terrible so I'm not going to complain (much)
Going for 2 didn't matter. What did matter is that they kept going away from the run at key times when the Chiefs couldn't stop it. The terrible playcall at the end for 4th and 1. Continually rushing 3 in 3rd and long situations and letting Mahomes just sit back and pick them apart. That...
They probably would have had that chance in Las Vegas too.
We're the freaking Nebraska of the NFL. Lose close games with a coach that makes dumbass decisions
