Finally, the thread you've all been waiting for! Your self proclaimed in-house expert on all things Broncos is gracing the board with his presence in order to provide you all with expert insight into what's really happening with this team.
(Allows the applause to subside.)
Wait, maybe that...
Possibly not, but we'll never know. Again, admitting I didn't get to see the second half, but from what I did see that Chiefs team has some composure. I don't like the Chiefs anymore than the next guy on this board, but there is just something about the way they carried themselves in that game...
I’ll admit I didn’t get to watch the second half of the game because I was taking my kids home. But I agree with this assessment. In the first half, the Chiefs had the composure and body language of a team that knew it was going to win. The Ravens did not.
Yeah, always sucks to see the Chiefs (or any AFC West rival) win. Also I was rooting for the Lions, but I'm not heartbroken about that outcome. I do hope the Niners destroy the Chiefs.
I'm ok with either remaining NFC team. I don't have any dislike for the 49ers at all, and I'd like to see the Lions reach their first SB. I've never liked the Ravens, and the Chiefs, well they're the Chiefs. Since one of them has to win, I am hoping the Ravens obliterate the Chiefs, but in turn...
McCarthy at 12...Michigan QB...
Brady was a Michigan QB. And wore #12.
So it's obvious JJ is our guy. And will deliver us to SB win after SB win.
I'm truly amazed some of you don't understand the technical science behind this stuff...
In all seriousness, I do wish the NFL hired the referees full time and enacted discipline for egregious mistakes and bad calls. I feel this would significantly enhance the integrity of the game. They fine players for hits that don't even draw penalties in the moment, so the referees' performance...
Agree. Years ago that wasn't the case, but more and more QBs seem to be putting up solid production into their mid-30s. The fact that making mean faces at a QB before the snap might lead to a 15 year penalty might have something to do with that.
Get the QB this year and let 2024 be a developmental year for him. The defense also needs a ton of work so chalk up 2024 and get our rookie some much needed reps. A 9-8 finish and wild card would be a bonus.
I would love to see Browns or Texans vs Lions in the Super Bowl. Teams that haven’t been. That would be a cool game to watch.
Aside from that may the stench of the Chiefs performance against the Dolphins fill every nostril in Kansas City for weeks to come.
(I’m pretty sure if I it like that...
Facts. 2005 Broncos are one of the biggest "what if" questions in the part of my mind where I file sports memories. As simple as what if Jake didn't have the flu the day of that AFCCG. Would the outcome have been different if he was hitting on all cylinders that day? We will never know, of...
Dude, you are clueless.
The regulars here don’t all share the same opinions. We debate and make points and counter-points all the time. Add to it we have Raiders and Chiefs fans who frequent this page and engage with us. We respect intelligent fans. So if you feel we haven’t been welcoming and...
I think this thread would have been better if we were picking names for the other posters. In my military days nobody got to pick their own nicknames. Generally speaking the more humiliating the story behind one's nickname the better. And the faster it would stick!
Right? We have some incredible football IQ among the regulars here. I consider myself the least knowledgable among the regs here. So it take a lot to drag down the collective IQ around here. And somehow he's managed that at a rate faster than I ever thought possible.
Oh man, you should stop while your IQ is still in the black. It drops with every post you make.
No play happens in a vacuum. Anyone who knows the first thing about football knows this. If all you watched was replays you are uniquely unqualified to weigh in on the game.
All good.
Broncos @ Raiders to close it out.
A win for the Broncos brings them to 9-8 on the season, their first winning season since 2016. It also snaps a 7 game skid against the Raiders. Playoffs or not, this game is very important to the Broncos.
