"The idea is back in the news, however, as the slide deck for the proposed league was leaked to the media earlier this week. It includes its new structure for the sport: regional conferences. You know, how college football used to look before billionaire...
Here's a breakdown of the winning QB's jersey number in the Super Bowl:

Correct. UCLA beat NC St 84-66. NC St paid them back in the Final Four 80-77 in 2OT...beat Marquette in the Championship, ending on a 28-game winning streak.
I'd say it's time to go elsewhere. 15 years at Kentucky, 410-122 (.771), and a National Championship. Won 21+ games every season except one...and seems as though that wasn't good enough.
Kentucky is one of those programs that gives off that 'sense of entitlement' for a Championship. Am I wrong?
Correct. 1976 Indiana (32-0) was the last to accomplish that feat regarding the men. Hard as hell to do that in the men's group. A handful of teams have entered the tournament unbeaten, but came up short...

1979 Indiana St (33-0)
1991 UNLV (34-0)

I see Tennessee has parted ways with another women's coach, firing Kellie Harper after 5 seasons. It seems they're having a hard time finding the next Pat Summitt. Give it up, Tennessee big wigs...it ain't gonna happen.

It's hilarious how meaningless their regular season is. It doesn't mean a damn thing if the team runs the table in the Big South, et al. and then loses in the conference tournament.
The 2024 tournament could look like this for the start.
Four regions of 18 with 15 vs 16 and 17 vs 18 in the "First Eight" if you will.
(17)Stetson (22-12) vs (18)Wagner (16-15)---vs (1)UConn (31-3)
(17)Longwood (21-13) vs (18)Howard (18-16)---vs (1)Houston (30-4)
(17)St Peter's (19-13) vs...
Oklahoma (20-12) left out. WOW.
Actually, I'm not surprised. I thought they'd get in, but oh well.
Oklahoma, Seton Hall, Indiana St, Pitt are the first four OUT.
All 32 automatic tickets are punched. What 36 at-larges will be selected? Who will be snubbed? It's almost here.
A-10--Duquesne (24-11)
AAC--UAB (23-11)
A-Sun--Stetson (22-12)
AEC--Vermont (28-6)
ACC--NC St (22-14)
