I hope they are all on the same page. Could you imagine if Peters sticks Quinn and Kliff with a guy they didn't want and he can't play.
Flip side, Peters gives in and gives them who they asked for and he can't play. Meanwhile the guy Peters wanted is tearing up the league.
All hypothetical...
I do wonder what happens if the nightmare scenario occurs.
Harris and Peters feel Maye will be a better QB in the long-run, but Quinn and Kliff want to win now and feel Jayden having five years under his belt is ready now.
Does Peters give his coaches what they want or does he go with his guy...
Quinn did JPs pod today and said if anyone says they know who we're picking they are lying because we don't know. Could be a bluff, but they haven't had anyone to Ashbrun yet.
Rick Speilman who was part of the search committee with Myers said in a recent interview he thinks it will be Maye...
Oh yeah. I feel much better today than I did when I posted that. Ben Johnson felt like boom or bust. He strikes me as a guy that could be the next Sean McVay or a guy that we quickly find out can't command a locker room.
I feel safe with Quinn and safe isn't a bad thing.
He still thinks they should draft Maye. Someone, maybe Hoffman or Sheehan reported that an NFC scout said in the end Maye will be the best of the bunch, but by the time he gets there, the staff will have been fired.
There are a few, but I'm kinda hesitant to say. Just reading tea leaves. The draft is in a month so anything can happen.
Keim said the name he's been hearing from everyone at the owners meeting is Jayden. Said everyone loves Jayden. To be fair to him, he did say he's not sure how that...
Exactly. No way Ben Johnson or MacDonald put together a staff like this. I'm not saying Ben or MacDonald would have been bad hires. Just saying Quinn wasn't a bad hire either.
