This team is just full of smokes and mirrors … they give you hope that they’re on the verge of turning things around, then went out pulled the same display we’ve been seeing.
Julio is gold glove baby.
Btw, it likely won’t last but I enjoy seeing the Astros looking up from the cellar right now. They may actually not be the same without Baker.
Crazy to me odd-makers continues to favor the M's.. albeit slightly, if I was a betting man, I'm taking the underdogs against the M's for some easy money. :D
I'm legit confused about this because even the slightest movement by the pitcher can be called a balk, but in this case, faking out the batter isn't? I guess the reason it isn't called a balk is because he never put his pick up foot back down? But this whole motion is funky and should be...
I switch to YTT for Turner so I can watch some NBA games.. contemplated switching back to Fubo for Root but now I see no reason to. This team made it very easy to decide. I still might switch back once NBA season is over mainly because Fubo carries more sports and soccer.
The good news.. they're no longer leading the AL in SO's. That belongs to the A's.
The bad news... they have pretty much identical stats as the A's all around.
2-1… 2 on, 0 out. Moved runners to 2nd and 3rd 1 out. Opportunity to tie or lead. Laid a fat goose egg. Your M’s.
Now it’s 4-1 and the game might as well be over.
I knew what this article was all about before I even read it.

I think you're giving them way too much credit than they deserved. I don't know what "a game were the Mariners start being themselves" actually meant, because nothing actually happened with a ton of strikeouts until the extra frame. They were also very fortunate Gilbert was sharp enough to kept...
Dipoto: I want to get rid of guys that strikes out a lot in 2023.
Also Dipoto: Dang, they’re still striking out a lot!
If anyone cares to know, they struck out 15 more times today to bring total up to 138! Good for leading the AL and 2nd in the majors behind the Dodgers…. But the dodgers also...
Feels like the same swan song for majority of the players that have left via trade or FA or cut etc.. and ends up doing well some place else. When it comes to trades, other teams likely have much better eyes at evaluating talent than this organization. Chris Taylor is probably one of the few...
Scotty up to his old tricks I see... either leaving guys in for too long or getting pulled too early.
pulling a dominant pitcher with just 78 pitches after 7... then the bullpen proceeded to almost blew it. Classic!
It's early in the season but I noticed something that just got me thinking.... The Marlins are 0-8 and are paying for driving out its top executive after a successful 2023 season. It doesn't seems like a minor regression. The M's on the hand, continue to reward bad decisions. Both are operating...
"BuT tHiS tEaM sCorEd dA mOst RuNs iN SprInG TrAininG!"
Start hanging the "Most Runs Scored Spring Training 2024" boys.
Oh and guess what? They've got wayyyy more strikeouts than they do hits. Even worse, a 6:1 SO/RS ratio. It's a horrific start offensively.
