You need to drive it to FL to break it in. I had mine over 120+ on 95.
The 2024:
Engine: 6.2L V8 DI
Transmission: 8-speed dual clutch
Horsepower @ RPM 490 @ 6450;
Torque @ RPM, 465 @ 5150
EPA Est. MPG: 16 City / 25 HWY
You'll never have to worry about something going wrong after driving mine for over 230K miles. My other color choices are Cacti Green with camel interior, Hypersonic or Sea Wolf Gray, similar to yours with black or red interior.
Freaking awesome.
I'm thinking about buying a new 2024 Corvette to replace my '95 (234,000 miles) and was able to find a Chevy dealer with a used 2023 2LT vette. $77K, 8,000 miles. The drive was a surprise. I figured the rear engine noise might be annoying but it was totally quiet! The car was perfect.
Carmen, 74, died in his sleep yesterday. After leaving his group, the Rasberries, he went solo and 1975's "All By Myself" and "Hungry Eyes" (1980), used in the movie Dirty Dancing, were his biggest hits.
Good move for Pittsburgh. 35-year old Wilson had 26 TDs/8 Ints. PIT only had 13 receiving TDs last year. Will fit in well with Harris and Warren with 1,800 yards rushing, Pickens and Johnson, 1,800 yards receiving. They'll do better than 10-7 this year, like 13-4. Will be an exciting team.
So I'd be forced to quit in Chester Co. Still, not bad for an EV w/o a charging station. That's what this particular discussion is about anyway. It simply demonstrates the progress they are making.
Not true. First of all, it's not how pit stops were figured into the results. Few would drive 14 hours straight on a cross-country road trip. On my recent road trips, my drives covered 500-600 miles/day between 9 AM - 9 PM, or 600/12=50 mpg average, with several 30-60 minute pit stops. So their...
Reports say that China EV maker Nio has developed a 600-mile battery. The company's founder, chairman and CEO William Li, set the benchmark in a Nio ET7. He covered 648 miles in the vehicle, over 14 hours, and used 97% of the battery's 150kWh capacity.
Nio demonstrates new battery tech with...
Good short history of it. I seems that if NASCAR heads remove/modify the rules, wouldn't we eventually end up where we started with each racing team adopting the same changes in their cars thus eliminating any advantage. among the cars.
To see real racing, they should try a few independent...
Ford has stopped shipping electric F-150 pickups due to quality issues. This is what I'm talking about. We're moving forward but more work is constantly being done to improve the EVs. People are reluctant to buy until the kinks are worked out and that's normal for any new high end product...
EVs are more expensive, currently, but in time, as battery technology improves with more charging stations on the road and for homes, prices will becomes more competitive. Younger drivers with high salaries will lead the charge.
Interesting. The question is then, how did the Dodge overcome the HP and weight disadvantages. Give some credit to the driver, of course even in a simple 2-car race; but how were standard NASCAR rules "broken" as far as the car itself specifically, goes, if you know.
Wow! Now that is a race!
Isn't there a problem though with speed. I mean there must be a max considering safety with 40 cars on an oval track. Which is why they decided on restrictors, I guess. Ideally, all cars shouldn't all be the same visually but should they have similar hp/weight for...
Retro, looks like I'm just not ready to place any big money bets on these races. So many factors involved like the car itself and the team/driver, endurance, and a lot of luck.
My three picks and results:
1 - Chase Elliott - 14
2 - Kyle Busch - 12
3 - Jimmy Johnson - 28
At least they all finished.
Top 3: Byron, Bowman, and Bell
I don't mean to put down EVs; I like them but I may buy a new 4-wheel drive P/U, maybe even a new vette, and I prefer gas since I'm a real old man. :suds:
Is anyone concerned about the increased weight of electric vehicles? The Hummer's batteries weigh 2,900 lbs. Batteries in the average car add 1,000 to 2,000 lbs. Tire wear increases 20%. Insurance rates are up because that extra weight means more damage to anything or anyone the EV hits.
