Yeah. I just got "lucky". Someone dropped him when he was getting pummeled. I picked him up just before he was sent down. Kind of a freebie stash... for what, we shall see.
I agree there's no loophole here. Just wanted to clarify. The only other dynasty I've done had permanent thresholds...
Just to be clear... I'd like to talk about Alex Manoah.
Should he really be minor league eligible? Sure, he's actually in the minors, but he has nearly 400 innings in the majors.
I look at him on my roster and ask myself if I'm jumping through a loophole by stashing him.
What's the verdict?
When I picked up Vasil (example) last year, I made sure he wasn't a 2023 MLB draft pick.
I constantly check MiLB box scores/players and will continue to add minor leaguers that haven't sniffed the majors yet. I do believe that isn't the issue at hand though.
It is not hard to confirm the...
Oh.
Well that's an easy fix is it not? Drop them.
If a player drafted in 2021 has a good April/May in the minors, and someone picks them up, you're saying they would be put back in the draft pool after the season if they don't get called up?
I don't think that's what you mean... it just sounds...
I guess I don't know what happened last year... did I make a boo-boo? I picked up players not drafted in 2023 but they haven't played majors yet.
Adding a minor leaguer who hasn't played in the majors yet is what the minor leagues are for... no?

Assuming you don't start CI/MI. Budget conscious, so we'll start from the bottom...
Hoskins - 1B studs will be kept and you'll have to pay too high to get so-so stuff for the leftovers.
Steer - easy call for $5
Bibee - have to try for $5
Phillips + Sewald = better than Clase for $15...
The Bills beat themselves. This was our year to overtake KC... it was gift wrapped... and we shit the bed. Missing our two best defenders but everyone is hurting in January.
Reid is one of the best.
