ProFootball Focus (PFF) scores this kid Latu at 96.3 which is better than any other position or prospect. Granted, their grading is based on 2023 stats. But he did visit Halas Hall a couple weeks ago.
I still feel the Bears trade the #9 pick. But this kid would fill a need in a class with few...
According to Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski, the team has “a very, very good plan” for Deshaun Watson (shoulder).
Hmmm. Not just a very good plan. A very, very good plan.
Did you see the Kevin James movie about Sean Peyton? I realize Hollywood takes creative liberties with the actual facts, but that movie didnt exactly show him as a "people person."
I guess my point is maybe Sutton would rather be out of that environment. As the saying goes "money isnt everything."
Since i have no idea anyway...
Might as well cheat.
1 - Caleb Williams QB
2 - J.J. McCarthy QB
3 - Jayden Daniels QB
4 - Drake Maye QB
5 - Marvin Harrison Jr. WR
6 - Malik Nabers WR
7 - Joe Alt OT
8 - Dallas Turner EDGE
9 - Rome Odunze WR
10 - Brock Bowers TE
11 - Taliese Fuaga OT
12 - Bo Nix...
I am not against drafting a WR, it just wont be at 9. With such a deep class - I believe PFF has about 12 WR in the top 100 - there's a chance to get a good one later.
Plus there are other issues. Not all are depth related. Is Poles' job secure if the Bears dont make the playoffs? (Or if CW is...
At the risk of sounding like BSG, we arent drafting a WR at #9.
Poles will probably trade that pick.
Using the #9 on what-would be a WR3 (in a very deep WR class) for a team who has a history of barely passing enough to keep their WR1 relevant is not practical.
Well, Conner has been productive. But he is usually a hangnail away from missing several weeks. Just dont trust him to last a whole season and generally avoid him at all costs.
Meh. The NFL throws money around. That signing bonus could be the result of a poor rookie RB class and a lackluster group of free agents available.
I have as much conidence in Pollard as i do in James Conner (and i hate Conner).
You and @Bandit are crazy.
His contract is $8 mill but his salary is just under $1.5 for 2024. And Spears is still on his rookie deal earning $1.2 mill this year.
Jury is out on Levis. Guess its do or die for him. My guess is Spears and Pollard provide a 1-2 punch to ease the pressure on Levis.
And as i mentioned, my opinion of Pollard is low. He was handed the RB1 job in Dallas and was pitiful. (And Dak was on fire a good chunk of the season too.) He'll...
Explain how he overtakes Spears to be this high on your FA RB lists?
I feel it is Spears' job to lose and Pollard provides "incentive" and insurance for Spears.
