Good stopgap signing...

I do NOT want to see any of you posting selfies in your AP Redskins Jersey.

With all the RB injuries for the Redskins I think it’s a good signing plus he brings leadership to the team.
Excellent signing.

as i thought , we went the stop gap route . for the purpose its a decent move as long as we didnt pay too much

Assuming that Guice recovers, why wouldn't they sign a stopgap? I don't think that there was a viable trade for someone that would be more than a stopgap. Who else was on the market? Basically just Jamaal Charles?

I've seen people who said that the Redskins should not sign Pedersen because he is over the hill and ineffective. But then people turn around and act as if this shows lack of belief in Smith.

The only way that lack of belief in Smith based on this signing makes sense is if Pedersen is not over the hill. Example, trading for Le'Veon Bell would be a sign. Signing an old AP? Why not just say this is about replacing an injured future (Guice)(and the two other runningbacks that got injured)?

the other option could have been a RUDFA to eat up preseason carries . we brought in a few of those types too

It is a very Snyder like move no matter how many people they work. Sell some tickets. Having said that I hope it works out but I am not going to bet the farm.

AP Shoulda been a skin years ago..... how they chose Landry over him in the draft still pisses me off.

Of course we signed AP. Did anybody think we would sign a different name?

Does anybody believe he is coming here thinking about being the back up?

It is league minimum of a million.

I can see it now...

Game announcer: " At 34 years of age Peterson has impressed with his first couple of carries, the question now is, how will he react if he's asked to go in for a second series."
