glad we have this in black and white.

what do you mean by "secondary player"?

Al Horford type.

Good player. Might make an allstar team at some point. But still a support player. Not the type that even a bad team can build around.

Turner in his 3rd year is a 12.7 PPG, 6.4 RPG, 1.3 APG, and 1.8 BPG player.

Indiana by all accounts overachieved last year.

This is one of your far-fetched posts, yet again.

Yes. He is a support player. Not a star. Stars are headliners. Players you can build around. Al Horford is not that.

You don't know nearly as much as you think you do. Maybe you should stop LOLing at people's posts who make you look stupid on the regular.

This is especially funny considering just a couple months ago you were talking about how mediocre Horford was after he got shut down a couple times by TT. Now you want to imply he is a star because it fits your narrative of the day.

LOL. That is some clown stuff right there.

I think hes DEFINITELY top 50 player, maybe top 35-40 player in basketball. I would CERTAINLY not call that a "support player".

He was arguably the best player on a team that got the 1 seed in the East last night considering Kyrie's injury status for a decent amount of the year.

"support"?

that is so fucking stupid.

AL Horford averaged 15.7 pts, 8.3 boards, 3.3 assists, 1.3 blocks per game in the postseason last year.

He was probably the Celtics best player in the first two series arguably with Tatum.

He arguably was the best player on their team during the regular season when the team was the #1 seed

He has made FIVE all star teams- including LAST YEARS All Star game. He has been an All Star 3 out of the last 4 years.

calling him a support player is fucking BEYOND idiotic.

I said you cant have 4 max players on the same team for any length of time. I still dont think they can. I think they will sign Thompson- kick the can down the road, and then probably trade Thompson and resign Draymond.

No team can carry 4 max's- especially when 2 of them are super max's like Curry and Durant.

You actually can. It's are you willing to pay the hefty luxury tax that comes with it? That's the question.

I was more poking fun at you because you constantly say shit like Gilbert will outspend the league. Not taking into account that there's a salary cap system in place that kept certain owners like Arison whom you repeatedly call cheap.

It's just pointing out the hypocrisy if anything.

i guess you dont realize there are ways to go over the cap if you will spend the money---- but Arison was more interested in protecting his pocket book.

Obviously you just cant go out and sign guys in free agency- but if you have a gm that can pull it off and an owner that is willing to foot the bill you can almost always make some kind of improvements. Ya know- like the ZERO improvements the Heat made this offseason since Riley hamstrung his team and left them with ZERO cap space and ZERO draft picks. And surprise surprise- they decided NOT to use the MLE.

and no- you cant carry 4 max guys ESPECIALLY when 2 of them are supermax type deals like Durants and currys. You will see. The economics of it are just too staggering. Probably over your head to really have a good idea of what it would mean and what hte costs would be.
