Best part is edamame. I like sushi just fine (although I tend to stick to fried rolls so I'm definitely not an expert) but those dumb salted veggies are what I look forward to if I go that route.

It's probably a midwestern thing-im as far from the ocean as it gets so I probably don't get top shelf stuff

I only eat sushi when I’m within a few hours drive of the ocean. That said, I’m not a big fan of all the rolls that they load up with all kinds of shit. Keep it simple. Great fish, good rice and maybe a couple good ingredients with it. I’m perfectly happy with some really good nigiri but I’m a big fan of something like a spicy tuna roll.

I love a crunchy salmon skin roll. But my favorite is Uni nigiri ot sometimes in a temaki roll, less often in a traditional maki roll. I'm less of a fan of sashimi.
