Absolutely amazing how they managed to get that HUGE sound on just 16 tracks. If there's a seven wonders of the recording world, this tune should make the list, easily.

Stewart, Gouldman, Godley & Creme are bondafide musical geniuses...imho

Always loved 10cc since I discovered them back in the 70's.

One of the most unique and eclectic bands ever.

Here's a fun fact I forgot to mention yesterday...

The song was originally gonna be done in a bossa nova style by Stewart & Gouldman mainly with a focus on guitars...but Godley & Creme didn't approve..so they reworked it mainly with a vocals, keyboards & synthesizer effect, which became the innovative tune it is.

I would have loved to hear the bossa nova version too though.

Upon further review...I guess they touched on that fact early in the video...I just didn't notice it last night.

I actually re-arranged it as a jazz tune, years and years ago. So yeah, it was really no surprise to me at least when they said it was originally a bossa nova tune.
