I believe the process is NFL Appeal, Arbitrator, then the legal system.

What I read was that an arbitrator agreed to by the NFL and NFLPA. That person agreed with the league. A federal appeal would be the next step from what I read. But again it does not appear JE has a leg to stand on.

Time for people to remove their the infallible Patriots homers glasses and realize JE did take something and it was worthy of suspension. The Pats did film and I have little doubt someone did deflate some footballs. Doens't make me any less of a fan just a realist.

Organic Chemistry is amazing. Add a hydrogen atom and it's completely different. Give the molecule twist and it's something else. There are endless ways to make "something similar" that won't be identified. He had something in him and according to the CBA it is worth 4 games.

Jets tamper and they get $100,000 fine. Anyone else tampers, GM gets a one year suspension, team loses a 1st round pick and is fined $1,000,000+.

The league is truly a joke with Goodell at the helm.

Hey @NWPATFAN what say we go out do a 'masking agent'? That'll really screw 'em up and worst case, we only get two games suspended. Nah, let's do both. A heavy duty PED and then we can do a making agent. Yeah, that's it, the NFL's so stupid they only give a two gamers for the agent that's masking the real shit but if you're stupid enough not to take the mask, you get four. Be careful, if they can't tell what it is, you get four.

Really kind of stupid rule.

Get caught taking a PED and you get 4 games off.
Do it twice and you get anywhere form 8 to a full year.
Do something that is unidentifiable and get four.

Do the PED and get caught using something that hides it and get 2.

Here's the right way to do it.

Get caught using a PED and you get 2 games off w/o pay. Your pay gets donated to something legit like Diabetes, Cancer or Heart charities. Not some social party that makes no impact.

Get caught using a second time and you get a full year w/o pay.

Get caught using a masking agent and everyone knows that you took an illegal substance and you knew it and took something to attempt to hide it. Two full years suspended. Can't set foot on any team facility for those two years. What are the chances that any player can come back after two years? More so, come back after two years clean??

Hiding PED use is not the only advantageous application of diuretics for football players.

Blame Roger all you like, but he has virtually no say in the PED policy. This is the testing program and system of punishment the players agreed to.

The per game suspensions are not written into the PED regulations (not a policy). The suspension is at the pleasure of the Commissioner or his assign. As it is with everything else in the NFL.

People tend to forget that Roger Goodell got his start in the NFL as the team attorney for the New York Jets. Most people would tend to be a bit less lenient towards a team that they any association with. Not Rog, he's also a Jets fan and makes no bones about it.

A little harsh but I get where you're coming from. The current policing is a joke. Then again that makes perfect sense considering the goofball that administers the punishment. Each day I like him less and less.

It makes sense in a lot of peoples world less blind homers. If the masking agent worked then there is not proof a PED was taken only a masking agent. The know the chemical makeup of what JE took was a PED. How this escapes you baffles me.

And I am not angry at all, I am however tired of Patriots Fans acting as if this team or it's players do not cheat. They do cheat, they have been caught an penalized multiple times for cheating. It's time for fans to stop making excuses, stop rationalizing and come to the realization that this organization and it's players cheat. Plain and Simple, accept it and move on.
