If you are going to do this you should compare how teams play at home vs on the road, not just records

Eventually, some could argue strength
of schedule at home vs on the road and stuff like that. But yours would be a better gauge as to whether the stadium plays a roll in it
or just the quality of the team.

About the only way to do that is to take conference opponents over a long period of time and compare home/away. For Oklahoma, that comes out to a 6% better performance at home, keeping the competition as consistent as possible.

Anyway is better than this. I think Bama has 9 regular season losses since 2010, so 4 of them at home doesn't strike me as being crazy home field advantage
