rubio is 6' 4" thats hardly small.

and Doncic is not a great shooter-- hes a decent shooter---- hes no rubio or ball thats for sure---- but hes definitely NOT a guy you want shooting volume 3s

46% for a backcourt player is nothing to sneeze at.

I don't really see how they can get the pick if they're depending on a third team to take on Parson's contract. Wouldn't that 3rd team just deal directly with Memphis for the pick themselves?

Yeah, it's a weird scenario. They're probably getting that memphis pick, which has the ability to be just an incredible pick if the one and done rule is out before the 2021 NBA draft, which would include the one and done class from the 2020 HS class and the HS class of 2021 prospects.

Simply could be a crazy loaded draft.

The first few years of high schoolers being eligible could be really ugly. They better make some provision for these kids to play in college if undrafted, as way too many kids will declare due to poor guidance (or too much ego).

I believe a provision like that would have to come from the NCAA. Something along the lines of, if they don't sign with an agent and don't get drafted, they can accept a scholarship.

The difference is at that point, guys like Mitchell Robinson or Brian Bowen would also be eligible to play in the G-League, whcih they cannot do right now (i believe they couldn't even workout at G League tryouts or anything).

I believe that's where Brian Bowen is headed, isn't he? He pulled out of the draft? Maybe he is then eligible for the G-league draft?

Salary eating is a great way to get picks. problem is Boston would not only need to give up to move from 27 to 4, they would need to give up to the team eating the salary. But something tells me Rozier is in this trade discussion

Lol at "the rest of the league thinks the Kings are capable of doing anything. (Not a compliment)"

which is why if I am Danny I dont trade that pick next year unless its really for the #4 pick this year

'd love Evans at 27. He is the smart replacement.

yup. I think we will see better where Rozier or Smart is rostered next year based on what this pick is (if Boston stays at 27).

Yes, but it's wrong that the NBA didn't let those guys play in the g-league this year.

when they drop the idiotic one and done that won't be a problem.

They can't pay both. PG talent tends to be deep so you can argue it's easier to replace Rozier, but man Evans is such a smart replacement. Plus he can actually shoot outside of 3 ft.

I would be shocked to see the Celtics get the #4 pick. No way the Grizz will take #27 and give #4 just to dump the Parsons contract. That means that the Celtics would have to sweeten the pot both to Memphis AND to the team taking the Parson contract, which is not going to be cheap.

They would need to absolutely LOVE someone to give up the assets to get that done.
