The same record at this point in 1988, the year they started 0-21.

Buck Showalter is pretty much Dusty Baker. They are good if you want to bring someone in to change the direction of a club. They have a shelf life about 2-3 seasons. After that, its diminishing returns. Neither are going to take a club the rest of the way.

Team OPS+: 85
Team ERA+: 85

-113 run differential

Orioles position players: -0.3 WAR (dead last in MLB)... and that's with Machado being worth 2.8 wins. The next best player is Adam Jones (0.6).

And still not the worst team in run differential. That honor belongs to the KC Royals (-136).

Buck has to go simply because he is leading a team that has flat out Quit on the season, and they did so long before this past weekend

This isnt a playoff roster by any means, but when you have as much talent on a roster as they do, its definitely enough to be as good as a team like say the Blue Jays or Tigers, thats not unfair to expect

No team has quit like the Orioles, that team has no interest in taking the field every night

"Nobody gets more from less"

If they fired the guy today, Baltimore would be in the World Series in 2021

Sometimes i think the game passes a manager by, and Buck probably falls under that description

probably doesnt adapt to the analytics and shit, betcha he doesnt relate well to the young guys, stuff like that

The Orioles finally ended their eight-game losing streak yesterday, but yet their season won't get any better anytime soon. They only got one pitcher (Dylan Bundy) trying to win the game, but that's their problem. The pitching is very weak, and it's frustrating that they're not getting the job done. They need some big name pitchers and bad.

20-50 now after winning yesterday but still Buck got to go. He had a good run with them but his time with the team is up.

If they don't pick it up in the second half, the 62 Mets might need to be on alert.

they've been inept at developing pitchers for two decades now
