Stevens lasted a minute.

Bower is a 4 year starter at Iowa. A former walk on from West Branch, IA 15 minutes from where I (and Nick) live... High school star.... Good work ethic but don't think he has the tools to play at the next level. All out effort player, just doesn't have the speed in coverage or ability to run sideline to sideline tracking down ball carriers. Decent college player who lacks the NFL tools to survive IMO. I'll be rooting for him but a long shot to stick... Either way cool to see him get a shot.

I didn't like Stevens as a Rammie - have no feelings about him being cut by the Broncos other than - one waste of time is gone.

I don't think we had much focus for Stevens and when he struggled in camp we pulled the plug to spend more time with guys like Lynch and Kelly getting reps.

They brought in Stevens right after rookie mini-camp. from what I understand Kelly really struggled during that time so the coaches thought bringing in Stevens would be a bit of a wake up call for him.

Broncos also signed DE Antonio Simmons who was a pass rush specialist at Georgia Tech and DT Caushaud Lyons who has been on 7 teams in 3 seasons.

Simmons is probably worth a look as a 3-4 OB at just under 250. I think he has a real shot at the PS.

I read that he was clocked in a 4.57 on his pro day (Bower) which blew my mind. Glad to see him get a chance with the Broncos.

Personally I’m a bit bored with all these Iowa players in Orange & Blue.

You know DC is pimping his butt off on the Hawkeyes to pro ball. Sad!

Maybe... But I am realistic... I don't expect Bower to make it. Glad he is getting the opportunity, and would love to see him make it.
