Just because you win the best slot corner award does not mean you become a CB beast look at past winners .. Just like if you win a rushing award does not mean you are the best rb or became a rb beast each year is DIFFERNT and schedule is DIFFERNT . Stats are skewed button line Alex is better then kirk

2. Less mistakes
3.smarter
4.playes like a warrior
Now there is only one stat you can use that less mistakes stats are not everything . i would be ok with CDC the free agent signing , but the trade was foolish . sorry .

and again the reason for not signing KC , from the anti KC crowd was he was a game manager and not worth the money .

yet we traded for a 34 year old one and try to shove his greatness up my rectum forgetting the BS you bashed KC for

Every time I almost think.. ok fuck it whats done is done. MAybe this will work out ok.

Some one tries to push the case that it WAS in the best interest of the team. That Smith is some automatic upgrade and how we really had no choice. While totally ignoring the fact that we did have other choices, and that the team was only in a spot to NEED to trade for Smith because they wanted to drive Cousins out.

Is it me or does it seem like the ABC crowd can't let the Smith vs. Cousin's thing go at this point? Why don't you guys let the season playout. If Smith plays great all of us that like Cousin's and wanted him resigned will be happy. Now if Cousin's plays well, then I suspect we will also remind others of that.

coach Fuller had a great season last year. It doesn't mean he is guaranteed to have another one, no more than it is guaranteed that Smith will repeat his best season ever from last year. The 5th grade arguments ard dumb.

It is a good thing football is played in the offseason before a snap is taken.

It is also great when we are talking about slot corners and they list guys that really don’t do much in the slot.

They did list a guy I mentioned in Casey Hayward though, number three I believe.

Chris Harris was number 11.

And Fuller only played in his second season...how did he do?

So you are Basher if you say Smith through for 17,000 yards and 102 TDs over his 5 years in KC

Cousin's threw for 13,000 yards and 99 TDs in three years as a starter in Washington.

Simple math tells you Smith needed two more years to throw for 4,000 more yards and 3 more TDs.

Again, if Smith plays great (and I hope he does) then it is all a moot point.

Going back three top slot corners were Chris Harris, Casey Hayward, and Kendall Fuller.

Chris Harris and Casey Hayward are considered two of the top corners in the NFL. Kendall Fuller is only going into year 3. The further you go back, the less I,pact a slot corner will make because running nickel and dime as a near base defense is relatively reason it is a new development is because of the prolific nature of pass games.
