Randomly walks onto a court in Philly and plays one on one with a random guy who obviously gets smoked.

That guy is going to have that story for the rest of his life.

I'm betting the 360th guy in the NBA would do the same thing against a 5'9" 250lb grocery bagger.

Of course. It's not about him being able to dunk on the guy. It's about him actually getting on the court and doing it.

So why is this good for the NBA?

Because he was jogging down the street and decided to get on a court and have some fun with random dudes.

How many NBA players would do that today?

Quite a few do actually. It's nice Embiid did that but it's not uncommon.

Heck, even Charles Barkely did it in Space Jam!

I remember Anthony Mason doing back in the day at the pretty famous 3rd st courts in the city. I don't recall anyone doing it in the past 10 years outside of a Pepsi commercial.

I've seen videos online of plenty of guys doing it. Doesn't get a lot of headlines, and it shouldn't.

I agree its cool though.

On a slightly separate note, i'm kinda looking forward to the Uncle Drew movie

If that guy would have widened his stance, he might have had a shot

It's happened enough to where this isnt an isolated incident.

Meh. Pretty cool but it's stupid given the fact that some slob who doesn't even mean to do it gets a foot underneath his on the way down after the dunk.
