One of the reviewers states that 4 main characters die during the first half of the movie, and two of them in the first 15 minutes....yikes!

Well Citizen Kane is known to be a classic. The Third Man is really good. But that is about it that might even be considered for top 10 from this list.

RottenTomatoes doesn't rate the movies themselves. It's an aggregate of the opinions of professional movie critics.
From those critical reviews, Rotten Tomatoes generates two different scores for each movie: TomatoMeter and TomatoRating.
When people say "Rotten Tomatoes score", they are usually talking about TomatoMeter, not TomatoRating.
TomatoMeter is just a percentage of professional movie critics who gave favorable reviews, a simple percentage of critics who liked it or didn't like it. TomatoMeter is what that 87% score for Infinity War is.
TomatoRating, on the other hand, is a graded score that measures how much critics liked a movie rather than what percentage of critics liked the movie.
That Top 10 list is a Top 10 list by TomatoRating, not by TomatoMeter. So bringing up that Top 10 list to attack Infinity War's TomatoMeter rating of 87% doesn't even make sense since that list isn't even measuring the same statistic, the statistic that RottenTomatoes is most known for.

I don't care how it rates against other movies, I would be more interested in how it rates against other MCU. I saw Justice League for the first time yesterday ... it's the poor man Avengers ... they try (which is nice). 2012 changed my movie watching forever. I went to see Marvel's The Avengers, just because it was 3D IMAX. I never read a comic book in my life and really didn't know the characters. The movie blew me away, I bought every movie leading up to it the next day!! Marvels The Avengers is my all-time favorite movie!!!

Without spoiling anything the movie is one giant cliffhanger for next years movie. If you go in and are ok with watching a movie that sets up next year more than being a standalone movie it will be awesome.
