This is what I don't get about the rule change. I was under the impression that pitching changes counted as a visit. Without pitching changes counting it just seems like a rule that punishes language barriers. Sure some catchers abuse mound visits but there are times when they are necessary to get on the same page as signals change constantly.

Rule for mound visits from MLB Rules Manual
(m) Limitation on the Number of Mound Visits Per Game The following rule shall apply in Major League games. National Association Leagues may adopt a rule providing for a different limitation on the number of mound visits permitted in a game or no limitation on the number of mound visits. (1) Mound visits without a pitching change shall be limited to six per team, per nine innings. For any extra-innings played, each team shall be entitled to one additional nonpitching change mound visit per inning.

I don't care what anybody says, but I DO NOT CARE for Seager. His ego gets in the way of his performance. Since he got that huge contract and the gold glove he just continues to be mediocre at the plate when we've got guys on base. He doesn't get it together until too far into the season, and then he still pisses me off!! :gaah:

I wish we had his brother instead.
