I don't get Kessel being called the most overrated player. Don't people have to actually think you're a good player for that to be the case? Most of the hottest takes I see are about how fat or out of shape he is or how little he cares. That doesn't sound like overrating to me.

I think those are the player responses (there was a separate fan poll and I think the media stayed out of this one). Not that that makes the "less than brilliant" label any less accurate though I suppose

But that almost makes it even stranger that MacArthur got a vote. Seems likely that someone in the NHL has some kind of personal problem with MacArthur, and while it's certainly none of our business I can't help but wonder why and who it is.

I think it can technically be interpreted both ways... for instance, one could say that Shanahan made an impression on Craig Janney when they played together. Or on his mattress at least.
