Yes it will. There is a prize for YTD totals as well, one for total correct picks, one for percentage.

Is there some kind of qualifier for the YTD percentage title? Doesn't seem fair that someone could win that with a fraction of the pick volume that others have.

Like with the Cy Young Award, a starting pitcher might have a lights out season, but he's not going to win the CY with 170 innings pitched.

They basically have to be one of the core guys that does this week in and week out. I'm only keeping those bottom posters in the YTD standings in case they decide to start picking again.

Shit i totally forgot yesterday was when i corrected my Jays/Sox pick on a seperate post. You may not have seen or counted that. So your math was most probably correct.

Speaking of being competitive, what's the point of competing if you can't tell your opponents what shitheels they are?

@Huwaryu_in_exile, that walking buzz kill, said we shouldn't be junking up the results page with shit talking, which I understand. I'd like to suggest maybe a pinned MLB Pickems Shit Talking thread? Don't know if anyone else would be interested in that or not.

It might be funny to have a place to point things out like the fact that @tducey is the only participant this week that's below .500 - like a "one of these things is not like the other" bit. That could lead to multiple shots fired, because tducey is the only one below .500, but @moxie is the only one that should be making sammiches.
