Odd game last night.... That's what happens when a team is not only due to win, but due to snap a losing streak against the team their facing.

I don't know if that pitch from Yimi was that bad- it was down but caught a bit too much of the plate I suppose. Nonetheless, his third blown save and probably just the right time for Kenley to return. No more ninth inning losses for a few weeks, especially after rain delays. Not fun!

Good to see Hatcher pitch a clean inning. Get after then with their Kryptonite in Kershaw tonight.

I honestly thought the game was over and headed to bed. Having to restart the game at 10:30 must have been tough for both teams, won't see too many games like that this season. Especially at Dodger Stadium.

My kid woke up at around the 8th inning and woke me up, so I checked the score and it was 4-2 mid 8. Fell back asleep thinking I would read about a win!

The sentiment was that Yimi should have not gone straight fastball to Cargo and mixed in sliders. Hindsight is always 20/20 and Cargo has been struggling against lefties and righties, so no wonder he's seeing a lot of fastballs and being challenged.

Pretty much a must win game last night for the Rockies with Kershaw and Greinke in the pipeline. I like our chances taking the next two.

Me too, especially since he'll have a better catcher this time. With Grandal behind the plate, I would expect to see less walks from Kershaw than the last game when Ellis was catching.

ERA is especially deceiving stat when Paco does not pick Kershaw up and allows a bases clearing double to Delcalso who might as well have been picked up in Tommy Lasorda's limo pre game.

Why I love Kershaw:

“I think the only thing is I feel an obligation to this team and the organization and everybody to pitch well, and I feel they put a huge investment in me to do that,” Kershaw said. “That’s really the only thing I feel.
