Shit like 'Competition Caution' is why (among many things) I could never get into NASCAR. "Allowing teams to change and check tire ware" is something that is part of racing. Green Flag pit stops are part of racing. I don't understand why NASCAR tries to avoid them

Logano has led from the beginning followed by Busch and Harvick. Danica is getting hit a lot again in the back of the pack. First by Casey Mears and now by Bayne.

Pretty cool. The pace car is running on hydrogen combined with oxygen from the air to make electricity in a hydrogen fuel cell to run the differential to the wheels. Water is the by-product. Goes 300 hundred miles before a cell change I have been told.

One of the least entertaining Richmond races in recent memory.

It's nothing new really. People have been making cars that "run on water" for years. Where you split the hydrogen and oxygen from the water, and then you burn the hydrogen with the oxygen which then turns it back into the water when it's burned.

Sounds great, except that splitting the water into hydrogen and oxygen isn't easy/cheap. So they do that at a plant with these hydrogen cells. Supposedly the costs to do so keeps it from being mainstream, as it's not cheaper than oil yet.

There are lots of conspiracy theories that claim it's not hard to separate the hydrogen and oxygen from the water on the fly, but corporations want to be able to monetize the energy so they buy patents and kill people. Personally I don't buy those theories, such a process would likely be common knowledge for scientists.

I have a friend who works on algae batteries or some crap with algae and energy in Alabama. That seems more promising.

NASCAR has to find out a way to stop the race. Busch is going to win it.

Good for Kurt Busch. Going to find out that bitch he hooked up with is a whacked-out gold digger.
