Ryu has a 1.78 ERA at home with a 6-1 record, not many rookie mistakes there. Not sure if Boston being from the AL actually means anything, the Dodgers are scoring enough runs per game to hang.

With all that said, I expect a fun and competitive series. It's great to finally play against the Sox and Yanks again!

Ryu has been pretty dominant at home, but this is why we play the game folks. It should be a good series to watch.

As a rookie he will make mistakes, and it's not just hanging curves the Sox punish. It's allowing walks, which
produce chances for RBI-producing gappers and multi-run homers.

Ryu will have to MAKE the home plate ump wave his right arm, because the Sox do NOT chase debatable
pitches very often. And rooks don't get the benefit of the doubt on debatable pitches either. In either league.

Nolasco was huge tonight LA and it helps us as we should have a fresh pen for Sunday if Ryu can go deep in the game tomorrow...

The thing to remember about Ryu is that he is not a "rookie" in the traditional sense. He has some professional seasons under his belt already. Ryu may lose to the Red Sox, but it ain't going to be a picnic for their hitters.

Nolasco completely stymied the Red Sox tonight and spoiled a great effort by Lackey. As usual, they came up with enough runs to win and have bragging rights for at least one night.

Carl Crawford handed it to the Red Sox. Red Sox fans must wonder why they didn't see more of that.

Ryu may be having good year, but he is still a rookie, and my Red Sox will PUNISH rookie mistakes severely.

He's not a traditional rookie, he's 26 year old who has been pitching pro for years, this guy doesn't get rattled either, pressure fears him

Great effort by Nolasco tonight, it's amazing how good he is when he gets ahead on the count.

Has Ryu yet had to cope with a team that, top to bottom, can foul off good pitches as often as my Red Sox do?

I doubt it.

GO RED SOX!

Lester threw only 22 pitches in getting through the 1st 2 innings. That is no surprise
to Red Sox fans.

So what if he did have some injury problems last season. Looks like he's over them, doesn't it?

Looking like what this Red Sox fan expects from Lester!

Anyone want to say he won't win a Cy Young before he's through?
