Where I am going is just because he “ flew up draft boards “ doesnt mean he was value or you or anyone else didnt think enough of him to put him there at 16 . I don’t care about some pundits ratings , I can find pundits that had him ranked lower .

no, after hearing Kiems podcast and reading hoghaven message boards, I understand why Forbes was the pick. Gonzo was not a slam dunk pick at CB. Forbes' weight was the only issue and his production trumped that. Plus he fits JDR's defense. Thats huge. I said I likeed him days befreo the draft jsut never posted another mock. Kiem reported mutile times that we did not like Porter and there was love for Forbes. So this should not be a total shock. ksbo also posted mutiple times on this.

I agree 1st round a few days before the draft but he didn’t mock him to us at all during the process . Not at 16 and the mock draft thread has been up for months

Yes, he was flying up boards and Kien said weeks ago we were out on Porter. Im not saying I wanted Forbes over Gonzo, I'm saying you shouldn t shocked at the Forbes pick. Especially that we go no calls to trade down. Forbes vs Gonzo will always be linked and debated. He was my #3 Cb behind Spoon and Gonzo going into the draft.
