I don't think he's the next coming.....
Three th8ngs:

1. He's got superior leadership ability
2. He knows how to win
3. He's a 'football' player

Not so important

1. He won 2 NCAA Championships in a row
2. He Played against the very best in Div. I two years in a row
3. He's a QB who can move and throw

Overlooked

1. He did not have a great WR
2. He did not have better than average WRs
3. His coach was a 'run first' coach

Biggest drawback is that he's 5'11 1/2", but everyone loves Bryce Young nwho is 5'10"

Regarding the Rodgers Trade to the Jets...

PACKERS RECEIVE:
  • 2023 first-round pick (No. 13 overall)
  • 2023 second-rounder (No. 42)
  • 2023 sixth-rounder (No. 207)
  • Conditional 2024 second-rounder that could become a first
JETS RECEIVE:
  • Aaron Rodgers
  • 2023 first-round pick (No. 15 overall)
  • 2023 fifth-rounder (No. 170)
So to look at it another way, The Jets get Rodgers and a fifth round pick while the Packers get this years second and sixth, next years first or second,

...and move from 1 pick behind the Patriots to one pick in front of the Patriots.

That two spot jump is only a leapfrog of the Patriots, nothing else.

So, who do the Packers want that they are afraid the Patriots will take?

Or, do they think some other particular team was going to trade up with the Patriots to get in front of the (Fudge) Packers and take some one?
