ESPN app and event replays.

F1 race was on live at 3am my time. So I put on ESPN app when I woke up to watch. In order to watch it, you have to go to the Auto Racing section. Which shows the first story "Leclerc wins as Verstappen retires again". The second story / clickable item is the race replay.

But when I clicked on that, since it was being re-boradcast on ESPN The Ocho or something it forced me into that "live" event with 10 laps (and 4 commercial breaks) to go. The original broadcast is done without commercial interruption. They litter the re-airs with commercials no matter what is happening on track.

I mean, I wasn't really interested in watching much F1 this year anyway.
I thought you were gonna say you were watching live and then rewound and couldn't figure out what lap you were on and kept searching until you got dizzy.

Can't believe no one has been pissed off for a while. :D

Anyway why the F**K do companies still ship stuff with those shipping peanuts. Not the anti-static type but that type that has so much static it sticks to everything and causes a large mess.

Had 2 different neighbors mowing their lawns on Memorial Day and last Sunday one was out at 8:30 AM. They have small kids so they get the benefit of the doubt but they're pushing it.

Maybe this is the old man in me and times are changing but wife and I were out to a pretty nice restaurant in NYC recently, relatively upscale and there was absolutely no dress code. One guy had a hooded sweatshirt with no sleeves, another was wearing basketball shorts and a tank top with graphics on it, other guy was wearing a baseball hat with a lot of mileage to it. I get Covid relaxed things for a time but come on people, have some self respect. Take 10 minutes to make yourselves presentable.

How is Coach Belichick doing?

I just had neighbors move in next door, an adult couple. They seem nice but so far they seem to have a fascination with fireworks. Why last Friday was an fireworks occasion, I do not know, but they are on notice now.

They wanted to get a jump on Flag Day.

BTW, Happy Flag Day.

Yes! Also, people who’ll create spreadsheets with long lists and refuse to lock the top fucking row, so I have to keep scrolling back up to remember what the column represents.

I will lock the top row myself so I can see it. But I shouldn’t have to do your work for you asshole!

Do you have stock in masking tape?
I wish.

Side story - one of my friends growing (think Appalachia) up had a full house of kids. One day someone yelled if anyone knew where the masking tape was and one of his older brothers yelled from the bathroom "I am not!".
You start by clicking the paperclip. He will help.
The paperclip can listen to voice commands now, just let your coworkers know they have to start with "Hey Paperclip" and make sure they speak loudly enough

you've got to be careful with that tape.
(yes this is an artwork that hangs in the National Gallery of Scotland)

I ordered a new MacBook last Saturday June 11th directly from Apple. I had the option to pick it up within 3 hours at the Apple store at Ross Park Mall which is about 20 minutes from my house or to have it delivered. I chose delivery since I didn’t really feel like going out and dealing with the public. 9 days later the order is still “processing” with an expected arrival between June 21st and June 28th.

And I don't blame you since Ross Park has become a dump like most malls in the area.

Monroeville Mall is essentially a night of the living dead museum.
