4 double digit seeds and an 8 seed into the Sweet 16 already. Can Ohio, UCLA, Abilene Xianm Oklahoma, LSU and Maryland add to that list? Would make things interesting.

With everything going on, I have little confidence that Alabama won't be the next high seed to fall to a lower seed. Yes, we should beat Maryland by double digits, but nothing in this tournament makes any damn sense.

Also, did anyone else see the Yahoo article on why Illinois got screwed? Supposed Loyola Chicago is a top 10 team according to KenPom, and so it wasn't as big of an upset as the seeding would lead you to believe. Not sure how much stock I put into KenPom, but it was interesting nonetheless.

Certainly wouldn’t shock me, as this team is virtually unbeatable when hitting their 3s but can struggle when not doing so.

The one reason I feel reasonably confident is this team’s ability to win close games. They don’t panic when challenged.

Well, the reason we win close games is that is likely have the best and most active defense in the country.

Plus bball this day in age is built around guard play and versatility, and we have both as we have 2 players that can play anywhere on the floor, and everyone else can play at 2 different positions at least.

Size and depth are strengths as well.

Any word on Primo?

None that I have seen, which is a shame.

I was watching the first game in a bar without sound, but it did appear as if he was participating in warmups, so hopefully we can see some minutes tonight.

They showed the highlights at halftime, though, and can work the left hook.

Yes, he shows a very nice touch finishing around the basket with that left hand. He has some finesse to his game despite looking like cooter from Dukes of Hazard. I wonder if he could play in the NBA.

Iowa had no chance today. Ducks were so hot today they might have beaten anybody in the country.

Watch the Ducks score 50 in their next game.

The PAC 12 tournament was more exciting than this.

Guess the media should stay up once in a while at night and watch real basketball.

Big 10 is so overrated it's hilarious. Too many of these teams settle for borderline MAC players and skilled big who aren't athletic at all. Hopefully Juwan changes that with his upcoming recruiting, but I am semi expected to see them get dunked on all night against LSU and lose as well.

There are 12 teams in the Pac-12, Charles. Not 14. Not 16. Good lord.

Gonna be interesting to see who takes Garza in the draft. He's been a great CBBer, but there's just not too much post game left in the league.
