Our previous owner hires his buddy to be GM and when his buddy tells him he's in over his head he ignores it and gives him a huge contract extension finally firing him for going 0-16 then the owners hire the guys assistant as GM more of the same then our current owner can't be bothered to decide the next GM she has bridge to play after all, so she has a committee hire our current GM another in a long line of failed BB proteges.

Just gotta hope Bill decides to sell when its his turn

I'm with you. I'm a Stafford fan. Had him in fantasy a few years back and he didn't hurt me. The FO has made so many mistakes can't blame one player. If he can stay healthy send him to NE, I'd be happy to have him.

hey, i wont argue with that, but we've seen front ho-hum to bad front offices get lucky with "winning" qb's before. stafford has had, what, 12 seasons to prove he can put the team on his shoulders and get them to where they want to be? TWELVE?? yeah, he's a loser.

I think Matt is a bright spot on a really really bad team. The whole organization is just bottom of the barrel. I wouldn't call him out as not being "the winner".

Smith was the man, in KC, but was he Andy Reid's guy or John Dorsey's guy? I think he was Dorsey's guy.

My guess is Reid saw the team flat line with Smith and realized to get to the next level they need to upgrade the QB position...meanwhile Dorsey was extending Smith...suddenly...no more Dorsey, the following offseason they trade up for Mahomes.

I'm still surprised they found a trade partner, but if BAL could get something for Flacco.

This season...I'm choosing WAS....I don't think they are sold on Haskins, new regime in place...could they leave the best player in the draft on the table for a QB? Maybe.
