One day it will all make sense
who doesn't care about OL? I'd argue that we all do
I was just quoting his comment
I do think it's a bit underrated and the corners and receivers are overrated

It's overlooked at times for sure. WR's and CB's seem to really matter though
Pretty sure jumped the shark doesnt apply thereLike I've argued before it all matters obviously but does anyone sit back and think Charles Woodson is a top 20 all time player?
Just feel like it's jumped the shark a bit
CBs are inflated because we each draft 3 of them in these and they have to cover the greatest WRs of all time. If you don't get a lockdown #1 CB at least you're gonna be toast against anyone w a strong passing attack - at least on paper. Woodson for me is a top 4 or 5 CB all time - he's def not a top 20 player on all time but absolutely worthy of a top 20 draft pick in theseLike I've argued before it all matters obviously but does anyone sit back and think Charles Woodson is a top 20 all time player?

CBs are among the highest drafted and paid players...I'd argue that it does. But this also isn't reality lol. I bet if you got all the NFL GMS to do one of these drafts, they'd follow similar suit, no?It just doesn't work that way in reality is all I'm saying

I think he means most important positions but most of these are all-time drafts so I get it. Having a lockdown CB is valuable but I would argue other positions have much more value or close to the same value imo...LT, QB, pass rusher, LB
Basically this
I'm dropping it now lol
the problem is simple... Offensive line and the front 7 in defense both have the same problem... its that we look at them as a group and not individuals... Unlike CBs/ RBs/WRs/TEs/QB...
an elite CB you automatically match them up to the WR1... but there is no clear matchup for the O-line and D-line
They do but you only draft 1 LT, QB etc so the replacement value is different. If you get the 8th QB vs like the 4th, your team doesnt change that much. If you get the 12th and16th CBs drafted, your team is much worse than if you would have got the 5th and 9th taken (random example)I think he means most important positions but most of these are all-time drafts so I get it. I try to.alwarsy draft to scheme. Yes I assume you are playing zone if you have Sherman or that you are getting toasted in man in certain matchupsYeah for sure. But also something we dont take into account for CB’s is scheme. For example, Richard Sherman basically a zone CB his entire career. Do we just assume they are playing a zone scheme then?
