At this point it’s probably Boise. And if we end up in Dallas at the Cotton Bowl, I’ll be there with bells on but I’ll have to get on a plane. The three Fiesta Bowl

The current front runners based on the early polls would seem to be Boise St., Army, Memphis, BYU, and App St.

I have officially adopted UTEP as my secondary team, in solidarity with my long suffering hooplan friend.

Utah State. Obviously don't have the resume since they lost at Wake, but they could have easily won that game, and I think Wake is better than both FSU and TCU. They won't get in though because they'll lose to LSU and some scrub 1 loss team from the AAC will.

They have probably the best QB in the G5 yeah. Put Jordan Love on most P5's and he's a Heisman candidate. Going into the season I thought that honor belonged to Mason Fine from North Texas, but he's been disappointing along with the team. Plus Cole McDonald is way too erratic. Don't know if it's cockiness or what. Luckily he has another year to sort through it.

The worst hurdles Boise has to overcome would seem be on the road vs. BYU, Colo. St., & Utah St. then the MW Championship against a West team with at least one loss, maybe two, since all of the MW West teams have at least a single loss so far. The 3 AAC undefeated teams will have to play each other, so if any of them can emerge, it would be at least debatable. It would help Boise if Florida St. could get its helmets on correctly and start winning, though. Meanwhile the old cliche applies, all any team can do is win every game, they can't change the schedule nor the system in which figure skating style judging will determine who gets selected.
