If they let the kid go to be with his family, there's still a good chance he comes back cause of the understanding of the coaching staff. Good deeds don't go unnoticed.
If he was just asking for time off ask for time off. You don't ask to leave a program fully without intending to not be back.

Agreed but he may not be back as soon as he thinks. Who knows how sever the family issues are and who knows how long his mind won't be in football. Show good faith and hopefully when he's ready, he'll be back.

I read some where were family was one of the issues the other was he didn't take a class, that now has him a credit short for enrollment.

I heard the class thing was taken care of over the summer as he was only 1-2 credits short. It just meant he wouldnt be able to start in the LEAP program this summer. Hopefully, thats what it was.

But it could be more serious. Nobody knows for sure yet.

I do have to agree that the fact he asked for a release from the NLI, rather than just time off to deal with family issues is not a good sign. Thats a pretty shocking thing which means he either plans to take a half or a full year off from school & football or he wants to play somewhere else.

That's what having a classy head coach and staff means,
no matter what this kid's excuse for wanting out, family classes, they don't go trashing him for it.
They keep it to themselves and move on....

Yep. And as for recruiting, i expect the Huskies to finish strong as usual.

Tufono just committed to USC, but that was expected. Concerns about his mobilty and foot work during the 7v7s he was involved in were being mentioned His ratings stock has dropped alot lately.
Bummer to see a legacy end up going there, but does appear the Huskies decided he was no longer a top target for their needs at ILB.

Former 5-star linebacker Ale Kaho granted his release from UW Huskies

So he's gone. Team kind of did what they had to and let him go.

Really doubt there's even a 10% chance he returns. If you read what the family keep saying, this kid was 20lbs down just from spending his time up here and wasn't in his right mind. No idea how much of that they attribute to just being up here vs being away from home at all, but people close to the family expect Bama to be in the mix again. So there's little doubt he left to get himself right and start over on the process of picking a team.

If he goes to Bama in half a year then something smells like bullshit.

It was bullshit from the beginning. I have an inside source at 247 that told me this is all about him going to Bama .. not a fvk thing to do with a family crisis.

Of course it's garbage, but at the end of the day UW is losing a high value 5* kid that clearly wasn't an OKG and didn't want to be here.

There will be exactly zero that UW can do about it once he announces his change. And Saban and co know that.

Oh, and now that the season is nearing it's back to players as avatars for me.

Almost time to have more than drama, recruiting, and Meyer to talk about. Need some damned games already.

Well if that's the case then what did Bama offer behind the scenes? That program is crooked that hasn't been busted yet.

The kid isn't all that great imo and he's had multiple concussions that weren't reported in his recruitment profile. Fvk this kid. Next man up.

The entire SEC is crooked as fvk. With that said, look for Oregon to get investigated. Oregon has become the Ole Miss of the west coast. Something is up.

Yeah that's true about SEC. It's the good ole boys conference. So what is the mighty quack attack getting investigated soon? I hate that program.

You don't go from missing a bowl game to top 4 in recruiting overnight. Not even Chip Kelly recruited this good. Just ask Hugh Freeze.

I mean their current HC did spend direct time learning from Saban so he has to know how to grease a few families palms without leaving a trail. Just saying.

Yep. Oregon's fallen massively behind the Huskies thanks to UW's superior coaching, player development, and Ducks having 3 head coaches in 3 years. Not to mention the Huskies told the Don of Nike to take a hike and signed with Adidas. If you don't think Phil's gonna not do everything in his power to fuck us over for leaving his companies sphere of influence, then you live with green and yellow swoosh shaped blinders on.

It's a similar to situation to the current status with Ohio State and Michigan. Ohio State had such a head start on them and Michigan had fallen so far behind, Urban's been absolutely woodsheding them year after year. No way Phil allows the Huskies to go back to being tops in the PAC North region. He's got way too much money invested in Nike U. to allow that to happen.

And the thing is, Crystalballz is easily the worst out of the 3 when it comes to HC experience and performance. There is no fucking way in hell he magically pulls in a top 5 recruit class with his absolutely mediocre track record. It's beyond obvious palms are being greased and promises of future benefits via Nike are involved. He's Ole Miss'g them bigtime and guaranteed shit will go down with the NCAA in record time cause it's going to be thug city again just like with Kelly.
