Humiliate and embarrass him by letting him play everyday and have the worst season in MLB history and hope he retires. Well, I guess that's one method of trying to dump him without having to fully pay him.

19-45.

At this rate, the Birds will eclipse the 1988 season and win less than 54 games. This season was over, weeks ago. :rip:

Buck should quit, effective immediately.

Buck will probably just suffer through the rest of the season and leave at the end of the year is my guess. I doubt he'd want to be around if we do a rebuild.
As for Davis, I wish we had some type of out clause in that contract due to lack of performance. His signing was on par with the Glenn Davis trade over 25 years ago as biggest boneheaded blunders this organization has done. If the Trumbo contract was the worst contract we had, I wouldn't worry about eating some of it to trade him because it's not extremely horrible like Davis'. I agree that I hope we can at least get some decent-solid prospects back to fill out our minor league depth some more. I'd even add Schoop to the list of people to be on the trading block if the front office has no desire to sign him to a long term deal.

we have an outfield already in he minors that will do better then these guys put boom boom back at first . palmeiro is having a nice season at the keys at 2nd could he stick ? mountcastle he is one that will get the rbi runner on third less than 2 outs . we have seen how hess is ready i think akin is also . scott should be on our team already . i love jaco arm . hell wright has come along well lately .

so our farm is better than people say . btw i like dosch at 3rd aswell but we pick up peterson ?

You know more about the farm than I do. From my gathering, it doesn't look bad, just most of the talented guys are either still either in A ball or Bowie. Not a lot to really draw from at Norfolk or else they would've already been called up I figure.

David Segui's second go around with the O's, 2001-2004, is right there with the Glenn Davis deal -- if not worse. 28 million for 4 years of injuries and bench riding. Easiest money he ever made.

He contributed next to nothing to earn that dough. Davis didnt cost as much -- although, he did suck for his $$$ and hype, at the time.

Now, getting rid of the Davis currently robbing the pockets of Angelos, is an even bigger problem and mess.

Forgot to mention the studs given up for Glenn (Schilling, Harnisch and Finley). Hard to top that loss of talent. Oriole deal makers made some very bad decisions, over the years.

Eight innings for Bundy with no runs allowed and gets no decisioned because our offense couldn't score. Don't know what more he could've done. :noidea:

Blier was doing good in the bullpen as well and with that injury not looking good, any trade value we could've gotten for him is gone.

Is it too late to have a paper bag night as a promotion for this season?
