What, showing up in a cast and making sure it was pointed out, pulling the same I'm bigger than any franchise with his lame where is he going to be next year act, and talking whatever "cerebral" bs he was talking about.

He's done. Nobody's buying his line of BS anymore. He's one of the greatest but if it weren't for his ego he could hav easily been the greatest. It's always been about what can a franchise do for me vs. the opposite.

which is why i don't want him anywhere NEAR the Lakers...

let him stay in Cleveland...

Windhorst said Lebron punched a blackboard after game 1. The sad thing is, some will now validate Lebron as the GOAT because of this. Even though it was a self-inflicted wound. Considering that this was after game 1 in the Finals, to have a meltdown like, is more of an indictment on him really.
I killed Marcus Smart for this.

Ditto for Amare.

When I was in my 7th grade PE class, I got out in dodgeball, got mad and punched the wall breaking my hand. To this day it was one of the dumbest things I have ever done. I was 12.

Like I said in another thread, his hand might be a reason for his play, but a self inflicted injury isn't an excuse. Bron should have kept this one to himself.

I wouldn't go that far.

To me his second half game 4 effort says more about his character than punching a backboard.

It was stupid as hell, but it was a bad emotional choice that only hurt himself. If he had taken his frustrations out on another person, that would be a different story.

Ok, so LeBron leads the Cavs in points rebounds and assists AGAIN, puts up the same stat line as Durant, produces over 1/3 of ALL STATS in the finals series for the Cavs, something that hasn't been done since Kareem 40 years ago...

But apparently he gave up?? Get the fuck out of here with that garbage bullshit.

Anyone that thinks that this playoffs takes anything away from LeBron's legacy/resume is beyond help.

Most 40point games ever, multiple buzzer beating winners, this team overachieved with all the aftermath from Kyrie quitting.

If you want to know what quitting on your team really looks like, look no further than a player being under contract threatening to have season ending surgery if he isn't traded.

Kyrie quit on the Cavs. And LeBron drug them right back to the same place they failed last year without him, filling in for Kyries role himself on top of everything he already did.

You are right.

It defintely enhances his legacy.

But I was highly disappointed in his effort in the second half both offensively and defensively. He played out the string the last few minutes instead of going hard and trying to rally his team. It would have been a futile effort, but one he needed to make.

When you are trying to catch a man whose mythological legend has been enhanced to a ridiculous degree, you can't have that type of effort in any game, let alone an elimination game.

Overall his legacy is enhanced due to his playoff performance. But he deserves criticism in the wake of game 4. And you know I am quick to call others out when they criticize LBJ for petty stuff. This isn't petty.
