Doc is getting an extension?

Ffs....Yeah, he did a great job last year.

And even though it cost us CP3, he was obviously right not to trade for Carmelo's trash ass.

But, can't we just start anew?

Although nothing has been made official, all indications are that Rivers and Ballmer have reached an agreement on a multiyear extension that will keep Rivers here for a remodeling job that will begin soon. This is big. This is cornerstone big. This is the Clippers setting the foundation for the post Lob City era with a guy who is coaching even better now than when he led them through the Donald Sterling crisis upon his arrival five years ago.

Keep the r*pe apologist away from my Team.

Oh, wait....

My owner has no issue hiring accused rapists.

So, a Larry Nassar supporter shouldn't be a problem.

Maybe he could come r*pe some coaching into Donovan.

SVG goes bye bye

Sources: Pistons, Van Gundy parting ways

I still think he's a fine coach but the president/coach role rarely if ever works out. It's just too much power and the ability to pick players bleeds over too much into the actual coaching. Instead of game planning and player building, you're just like "this guy isn't getting it. I'll get someone else" or the vice versa scenario of a coach saying "We're close right now. Let me go get this guy for RIGHT NOW" instead of realizing their team is still a couple of years away

Another thing I heard about why it rarely works is because the coach/player relationship is so different from the GM/player relationship. It's often harder for the coach to see that a guy is done or needs to/should be moved because the players are "his guys".

I don't know if that's part of the issue in Detroit, but it makes sense.

and surprisingly he may also be looking to land LeClown when the off-season rolls around...

Him and Fiz are supposed to have a good relationship. Too bad New York's owner sucks...

Lebron knowns him well from Miami and likes him. It could work ... but Lebron would need a great player to go with him ... and I don't see it. (I don't think PG13 would do it -- or would be good enough.)
